Hands down, the best pregnancy book on the market. This book explained pregnancy and labor in terms that were understandable and unbiased (key word - UNBIASED). It explained different birthing techniques and use of medications without "preaching" personal opinions. When I was in labor, this book helped me undertand the different stages. It described exactly what I was feeling and what to to expect next. Previous reviews have stated that it is written for medical professionals, and I have to agree. That being said, the book is written in simplistic enough terms that non-health care professionals can gain knowledge from this book. Highly recommend to anyone in their first pregnancy!
